The equipment is inside one case or two cases placed on a table, perhaps next to an audio mixer and character generator. They may be left in place or transported. Usually there is enough hardware installed that two people are needed to lift it.
The switcher is on a pull-out shelf. If you use a CG-100 Character Generator, the monitor and keyboard should be adjacent in a second rack or sitting beside it on the table. If the system is portable, you should plan on buying a second case (PN# CCS-S1), which can hold the monitor and keyboard. Both the front and rear covers are removeable.
The MS-1000 includes Datavideos SE-1000 switcher with individual input source monitors and the TLM-170 monitor that pulls out and flips up for viewing.
